Jeremy Berwanger won Skyline OH. on August 7th and I-77 WV. on August 8th and 15th continues to lead the AMRA National Points. Giving him thirteen feature wins in 09.
Greg Fanning won a pair of features at Moulton, AL. on August 8th and 15th.
Chad Sweeney won two features at West KY Speedway on August 8th and 15th.
Jason Hall won his 7th feature of 09 at Mountain Motor Speedway, KY.
Dave Defibaugh won at Elkins Motor Speedway, WV.
Jeff Harris led a Lightning dominated feature at Lawrenceburg, IN. with the top four cars being Lightning Chassis with BJ McCammon 2nd, Rick Bingham 3rd and Jim Szekacs 4th .
Lake Cumberland Speedway had three features in the past two weekends all won by Lightning Chassis drivers, Jay Patterson, Ben Petrey and Jeff Rawlings all collecting their first victory of 09.
Dennis Roberson and Delane Browning each won feature races at Richmond Raceway, KY on August 8th and 15th.
Randy Whitten won his first feature of 09 winning the Casey Eberspeaker memorial using a borrowed engine from the family of Casey Eberspeaker after going through the consi and starting 23rd.
37 different drivers have won so far in 09 in a Lightning Chassis accounting for 118 feature wins. |

BIG weekend for Lightning Chassis
At the annual Heritage Classic at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex Don Adams unloads fast and has a very strong night with a heat race win and rides off with the Harley at the end of the night.
Jason Hall has a great weekend with the two wins at two different tracks. Friday he won at Mountain Motor Speedway, KY. Saturday he won at 201 Speedway, KY.

Josh Brock won the open competition special at Corbin Speedway on the fourth of July.
John Brooks won his first feature of the year at the Butler Motor Speedway in Michigan.
Rick Clark won his first feature at Mountain Motor Speedway, KY.
Dave Duste JR. won his third feature of 09 at Yreka Speedway in California.
Chad Kinder made his eighth win of 09 a good one by winning the $5,000 race at Portsmouth Raceway Park, Ohio.
Joey Kramer won his ninth feature of 09 at Lawrenceburg Indiana.
Larry Kugel won again at the Hilltop Ohio Speedway on July 10th.
Tommy Riggs won his Second at the Montgomery County Speedway, KY on July 11th.

Robbie Evans won at Skyline, Ohio. Brad Wieck won at Lawrenceburg, Indiana with Joey Kramer and Bill Wagner finishing second and third giving Lightning the top three. Chad Kinder won at Vermillion County, IL with BJ McCowen finishing second for a one-two sweep at the Danville, IL track. Michael England continued his hot streak winning at Bluegrass, KY for the third week in a row. Jason Hall captured his third win in two weeks at Mountain Motor Speedway, KY with Mike Howard finishing second and Kevin Harkins fast qualfier.

The first week of July was a racing weekend canceling most racing but Lightning drivers still picked up six wins.
Rick Aukland won the $1,500 to win special at Midway Ohio.
Jason Hall doubled up at the Mountain Motor Speedway, KY winning the $800 special feature and the make up feature from last weeks rainout.
Michael England won again at Clinton County, KY for his fourth win in four nights.
Tommy Worley Sr. got his first win of 09 at Fredricktown, MO. Mike Murphy won his first feature of 09 at the Elkins Motor Speedway, WV. Congratulations to all of the winners and good luck to everyone next week. |

The last week of June saw 8 wins for Lightning drivers, with Michael England getting the win at Clinton County, KY on Friday and his second win in a row at Bluegrass Speedway, KY.
Jeremy Berwanger continued his winning ways grabbing his 8th and 9th win of the year at Skyline, Ohio and I-77 WV.
Travis Shoulders won at Lincoln Park, IN. which is the 8th week in a row for a Lightning victory at that track.
Dave "Fireball" Pinkerton won for the second week at KC Ohio Speedway. B
randon Gallaway won at the Virginia Motor Speedway.
BJ McCammon won his first feature of the year at Vermillion County, IL.

The third week in June was a good week with Lightning drivers winning 10 races.
Jeremy Berwanger continued his winning ways with wins at Beckley, WV on June 20th and Eastside Speedway VA. on June 21st.
Paul Bumgardner won at Lincoln Park, IN.
Michael England got his first ever modified win at Bluegrass, KY.
David Freeman won his second feature of the year at Montgomery County, KY.
Dave "Fireball" Pinkerton finally got his first win after nine years of racing at KC Speedway, OH.
Lightning Chassis swept both features at Western KY Speedway with Brandon Dierlam winning the modified and Chad Sweeney winning his third feature of the year in the EMOD division. Larry Kugel won the Tuesday night special event at Hilltop Ohio Speedway. |

Joey Kramer took the 1,500 Battle of the Bluegrass feature win at 201 Speedway which was Kramers 8th win of 2009. Don Adams and Kelly Warren finished 2nd and 3rd giving Lightning the top three spots.
Paul Bumgardner got his 5th win of 2009 at Lincoln Park Speedway, which make 6 in a row for Lightning at the track.
Chad Kinder won the 1,500 special at the Vermillion County Speedway, with BJ McCammon running 2nd.

For the 5th consecutive race a Lightning Chassis has won the feature event at Lincoln Park Speedway. This week it was Paul Bumgardner winning the feature with Travis Shoulders finishing 2nd. Bumgardner also won his heat.
Jeremy Berwanger won the Skyline Ohio AMRA Road Warrior Race with Dave Defibaugh getting fast time and a heat win.
Kevin Harkins and Dustin Isom each win for the second week in a row at Mountain Motor Speedway and Clarkesville Raceway.
Jeff Harris wins Lawrenceburg Indiana friday special.
Victor Lee wins Clinton County KY for his sixth win of 09.
Courtney Conley picked up his first feature win at 201 Speedway.
David Freeman won the 1200 special at the Montgomery County Speedway.
Dennis Roberson won Richmond Ky with David Adams for the Lightning one two sweep.

Lightning finishes first and second at Mountain Speedway with Kevin Harkins getting his first win of 2009 in his new 2009 model Lightning with Jason Hall finishing second.
Lightning sweeps Richmond Race with Don Adams and Dennis Roberson each winning their heat and finishing first and second in the feature.
Saturday night at Lincoln Park Speedway ended up being a show down between Travis Shoulders and Paul Bumgardner in the feature event with Shoulders beating Bumgardner to the line by a few inches giving Lightning Chassis a 1st and 2nd place finish. Shoulders and Bumgardner also won their heat races.
Dustin Isom gets his first win of 2009 at Clarkesville Speedway, as well as getting fast time and winning his heat.
Dave Duste Jr. won at Southern Oregon Speedway taking his second win of 2009.
Larry Kugel won at 250 Speedway in Ohio to get his first win of the year
Victor Lee got his 6th win of 2009 at the Lake Cumberland Speedway. |

Jake Keaton won his first feature on dirt at the Willard Speedway after flipping the car two weeks before.

Paul Bumgardner proved "Nothing Strikes faster than Lightning " at Vermilion County Speedway Saturday night leading green to checker to take the feature win in the #54 Lightning Chassis. Paul Bumgardner and BJ McCammon in the #23c Lightning chassis won their heat races.

Dave Duste JR. wins 1,000 Pear Blossom Special modified race at Southern Oregon Speedway giving Lightning their first win out west in 09.
Chad Kinder wins Tri City, IL Frost buster Modified Special, starting from the 18th position in a strong field of UMP modifieds to win $2,000 event.
Lightning sweeps Vermillion Co Speedway Chad Kinder and Gordon Curtis each won there heat race, and Kinder won the feature giving Lightning a clean sweep on Sat. April 18.
Lightning clean sweep at Richmond Raceway April 18th Michael Ward and Don Adams won their heat and Don Adams won the feature with David Freeman finishing 2nd also in a Lightning Chassis.
Lightning Strikes Bluegrass Joey Kramer won the feature after having quick time and winning the dash, with Micheal England finishing 2nd. Robbie Gullion won the heat race giving Lightning a clean sweep of the modified events at Bluegrass Speedway Sat April 18.
